A girl whose mother protects so much that she can invent non-existent diseases finally rebels when she discovers everything she’s missed in life because of her.

Gangs of London

If you want a little more action and love the comings and goings of modern gangsters this time in the city of London, this Starzplay series will be your best friend. When the capo of one of the city’s biggest crime syndicates is killed, the peace that reigns over the streets of London will be shattered, leaving a power vacuum that needs to be filled. It’s a story where violence is nothing but the most effective way to get to the truth and peace is just a ceasefire until the next war.

Power

Much has been written, read, and told about drug trafficking, money laundering, and the real power struggle that comes out of banknotes and banks around the world. On this occasion, we will be able to witness a drama that has been on the air for years and introduces us to the complex world of drug trafficking, nightclubs and security forces agents dedicated to persecuting suspected criminals. Starzplay’s lineup is very compelling, including the appearance of 50 Cent, one of the best-known rappers in the United States, who is also the producer of the piece.

The Night Manager

One of the most influential novelists of the spy genre, John le Carré, to whom we owe such works as The Russian House or The Spy Who Came from the Cold, is responsible for the work at hand, at least in a fairly faithful adaptation. Available on Starzplay, this television series not only uses the power of the media as a weapon, even against the protagonist’s own family, but also offers one of the most powerful stories on the entire recommendation list. We applaud the power of the amazing performances we can enjoy, including the presence of Elena Anaya. The serious condition of the lead couple’s son will bring to light better-buried details and secrets.

Pennyworth

The story surrounding the Dark Knight of Gotham, one of the most recognizable superheroes in the comic book world, has been told countless times, but there is a recurring character in the plots who doesn’t get much attention and who turns out to be. The protagonist of this Starzplay series is Alfred Pennyworth, the Wayne family’s butler. Alfred, who has a dark past as a former British Army special forces soldier, decides to start his own security company and work with millionaire Thomas Wayne before Bruce himself emerges and becomes Batman in the 1960s.

Dublin Murders

The Dublin Murder Squad series of books by Tana French is the inspiration for this television series. Rob Reilly is a British detective who, with his new partner Cassie Maddox, will stop by Dublin to investigate the murder of a young woman. The struggle between the old and the new Ireland will trigger an investigation that will go beyond police work, in addition to the hero’s own inner ghosts.

Penny Dreadful

Instead, it’s geared towards fans of B-series horror who want to explore the craziness of their creators.

Sweetbitter

This is another series that owes some of its plot to a novel of the same name by author Stephanie Danler, and it tells us how, in its first season, Tess got to New York, got a job in one. From the very first moment, Tess learns to live in a city that never rests and solve the problems that arise, while learning what it’s like to awaken her entire being, deceived by sex, drugs and luxury.

Normal People

Ireland, where this television series will show us, is available on Starzplay, and it will show us the life of County Sligo middle school students Marianne and Connell, but then they also studied at Trinity College. While Marianne is considered one of the rare girls in high school, Connell is the typical student with great talent for sports. The relationship that develops between the two, in addition to the social issues discussed in its plot, makes this series one of Starzplay’s little gems.

Run the World

This television series broadcast by Starzplay will show us the lives of a group of African-American women in one of New York City’s most iconic places, Harlem district.
