Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Delayed Indefinitely as CD Projekt Refines Final Patch

CD Projekt Red’s popular game, Cyberpunk 2077, was scheduled for a new update on June 26, in a couple of days. The developer himself has announced on X/Twitter that this update will not arrive on date, in fact, it has been delayed to an indefinite date for the time being. It seems that he will need more than a couple of days to fine-tune this new version 2.3 until he is sure, in his own words, that they are satisfied with the result.

Update 2.3 will be similar to 2.2 in terms of content quality, and will possibly be the last major update before putting all its resources into the new Cyberpunk 2. This delayed new version is expected to offer improvements to the user experience, as well as improvements to the game’s content that may also include quality improvements. You can’t miss the correction of errors from which this popular title is not spared either.

A game that is coming to an end before giving way to the continuation of the story with a second installment, in which CD Projekt Red has already said that it is in the pre-production phase. If you want to continue the story of the original game we will have to wait for this new release of Cyberpunk 2 “Project Orion” which, at the moment, does not have a scheduled date to arrive on our PCs and consoles.
