Intel Releases New Drivers 32.0.101.6881 to Fix Overwatch 2 Issue on Arc A Series
Intel continues to release updates for its Intel Arc graphics at a good pace. Sometimes it offers us WHQL drivers full of new features, with some bugs fixed and even optimizations of some popular games that gain performance simply by installing a new version. But this time it has simply wanted to correct a known problem in a popular game, so that users of its Intel Arc graphics can enjoy it without interruptions.
As the only novelty, and only in the Intel Arc A-series graphics, Intel has fixed a bug in which the Overwatch 2 game can get stuck when running it with graphics in high or ultra quality. There are no further new features in this version of the 32.0.101.6881 drivers. However, Intel has left a list of known issues that it has differentiated according to its different available references. Thus, for the most recent Intel Arc B Series we find among them:
- Fortnite may crash when running at lower graphics performance settings, as a workaround it is recommended to use the default rendering in DX12.
- Some scenes may flicker during gameplay in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
- Graphical glitches can also appear in the water in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.
There is also a list of known issues for the Intel Arc A series and for the integrated graphics in their CPUs, as well as some known issues with Intel’s new software. You can find them all in the release notes.
Update now if you play Overwatch 2 and experience this problem during the game, otherwise you can wait for a future version that will surely correct this problem and add other new features.
