Nintendo Switch 2 Breaks Records with 3.5 Million Units Sold in Just 4 Days

It’s been just 6 days since Nintendo’s new console, the Switch 2, went on sale. A console that apparently, if you didn’t have it reserved before its release, was difficult to get. The lack of stock in the main stores gave a clue to its expected sales success, something that Nintendo itself has now confirmed in a statement. The Nintendo Switch 2 has become the company’s most successful launch, managing to place 3.5 million units in just 4 days.

Sales include the console and the bundle that includes the Mario Kart World game, as well as the Japanese-language edition that is only sold in Japan. We will wait for other updated data to see how these sales evolve, although the sales success of this second version of Nintendo’s hybrid console will surely continue.

And it was to be expected, the stir that has been formed with this console, together with the leaks and announcements of Nintendo itself, has made users eager for the new Mario Kart World along with the novelties in games available from the first generation. Some games on the first console are compatible with the new hardware, with an addition in the form of an improvement by Nintendo itself, some even at no additional cost. An incentive that has surely convinced many users to switch to this new, more powerful hardware that offers 4K output at 60 FPS.
