Secret Mini-Game in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Uncovered After 4 Years
In case you didn’t know, the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is four years old. To celebrate this anniversary, the game designer has revealed a secret that has been very well kept all this time and that is that apparently, you can access a secret minigame that no one had managed to find. It is a mechanical bull and although it is something that has not been finished, the truth is that it is really curious.
Grant Parker decided to show all players how to unlock this prototype minigame that he hid behind an elaborate code. To be able to use the mechanical bull, what you have to do is get to the Zurkie space station and go to the entrance, where you will find two “no weapons” signs on either side of the door. To continue with the trick, you will have to shoot the left poster five times, then the right four times, and finally the left thirteen times. After this there will be nothing to confirm that you have achieved it, but you will only have to go to said minigame and enjoy.
Parker himself commented that the minigame is only in the prototype phase and, therefore, is very basic. To try it out you’ll have to use the right analog stick to keep your balance on the bull, and once you fall, there’s no animation or anything like that either. It is something really simple that was left there to be able to reveal in the future, as has happened now.
The arrival of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart for PC generated controversy
While it’s great news for all gamers that the titles can be enjoyed on different platforms, it seems that there are people who aren’t happy about it. Yes, the passage of time seems to be leaving exclusivities aside and as strange as it may seem, there are users who are not satisfied with that. Of course, the fact that a title is present on several platforms is a positive thing for the developer and of course, for users.
We’ll see what happens with this soon, but without going any further, Xbox seems to have put aside exclusive games, as they will now also be released on PS5. For example, the game that started one of the most iconic sagas in video games will also be available on Sony’s console, obviously we are talking about Gears of War: Reloaded. The new version of the classic that came out 20 years ago and revolutionized third-person shooters.
