The Witcher III Could Receive a New DLC 10 Years After Its Original Release

CD Projekt RED’s creation with The Witcher III was practically perfect, the game is considered one of the best in the history of video games and now, 10 years after its release, it seems that the content of the title can still move forward. New sources indicate that a DLC could come to light soon, increasing the story offered by this game, which we remember already has a couple of downloadable contents that have been really incredible.

This time it has been Boris Nicepolak, a reliable Polish leaker from CD Projekt Red, who has confirmed that the developer has outsourced the development of a new story DLC for The Witcher III to the company Fool’s Theory, and it could be released next year. Great news still awaits you, since the game is expected to be compatible with mods this year, after it brings its new DLC in 2026 to then give way to The Witcher IV and finally, offer a remake of the first game in the saga.

Unfortunately, there are no details about this new DLC at the moment. There’s also no word on whether you’ll be able to replay as Geralt or if this DLC will serve as a starting point between The Witcher III and The Witcher IV.
