Marvel movies and TV shows coming out in 2024

2023 looks as interesting as years past for Marvel Studios, but its planned releases promise to radically change everything they’ve said so far. The narrative model of continuing the epic with series that complement the story of the films continues and promises the most intense 12 months.

The first will be Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will not only be a turning point for the superhero played by Paul Rudd, as all fans know, but also present the new Thanos of this new series. Fatih Kang, played by Jonathan Majors. These are the series that are already presented as an event worthy of the Avengers movies, they will be the series that will say goodbye to the MCU, and more characters that we hardly know in recent years will be followed. Do you want to know all of them? Keep reading.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Release date: February 17, 2023. We don’t know if this will be the end of Scott Lang’s Ant-Man in the MCU, what we do know is that it will be a defining movie. And we will not only get to know Kang beyond his variant in Loki, but also the Quantum Kingdom within. Whether it is relevant or not will be decided on the screen, but we must not forget that the universe can be saved in Avengers: Endgame, thanks to what happened in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

What If…? – Season 2

What If

Release date: First quarter of 2023. Marvel’s scariest animated series will return for a second season, and this time, viewers will know they can’t skip it. While it is obvious that he has a different style, the plot not only refers to situations seen in the movies before, but also to situations that can have consequences in the series. Proof of this is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, where many variants can be seen in a very similar way in the first episode set, although they have not confirmed that they share the plot. Much more risky discussions are expected in this.

Secret Invasion

Release date: Spring 2023. This year will also see Secret Invasion, one of the biggest events in Marvel history. Seeing Captain Marvel, many were surprised by the positive role of the Skrulls on Earth, which they continue to repeat in Spider-Man: Far From Home and at the end of WandaVision. But the truce seems to be coming to an end. Now, the Skrulls will infiltrate the humans, leaving a Captain America-level spy thriller. We’ll see legendary Marvel actors like Samuel L. Jackson or Cobie Smulders, as well as new additions like Emily. The story is expected to bring together various heroes…

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

Release date: May 5, 2023. This time we will see some guardians who are already part of the Avengers, saving the universe more than once and facing one of the most important missions. Gamora, whose fate in Infinity War is already known, will be one of the key points of the movie, and at the end we will learn more deeply about the origin of Rocket. As if that wasn’t enough, brand new Adam Warlock will be circling to bid farewell to the MCU star group, confirming that his director will be the end of that team anyway.

Loki – Season 2

Release date: Summer 2023. Loki managed to reunite the Avengers and a series on Disney+ in 2012 after supposedly saying goodbye, so how come it doesn’t have a second season? It is unknown what they will focus on, but it is clear that they have material to spare if they continue to explore the multiverse. Loki was the first character in the MCU to interact with a variant of Kang, and now in reality he rules over everything. Will he do his job again or try to save the multiverse?

The Marvels

The Marvels

Release date: July 28, 2023. The sequel to Captain Marvel promises to exceed all possible expectations. Carol Danvers will be joined by Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau, two women who have a lot to do in their lives: one is her biggest fan and the other is the daughter of her ex-best friend. This will be the second MCU movie based entirely on the two series.

Release date: Last quarter of 2023. Riri Williams has already won the hearts of thousands of viewers at Wakanda Forever, and now we’ll see it in her own solo series. Ironheart will take over from the most legendary hero in the MCU, but of course he will do so on his own. While everything seems to indicate that he could take part in a Spider-Man: Homecoming-style adventure, we don’t know if they’ll be returning the costume Black Panther made in his country. And while nothing has been confirmed yet, it could serve to warm up the engines and prepare fans for Armor Wars, another of the series planned for years to come.

Release date: Last quarter of 2023. Ojo de Halcón has given a lot, but among all the flashbacks and presentations he has made, the one with Echo stood out in a remarkable way. Maya Lopez was the leader of one of New York’s most feared crime squads, but this time she will be back to her roots. The rest is still a mystery. His step-uncle Kingpin could have been very involved in the plot. We don’t know if there will be a crossover with Daredevil.

Blade Marvel

Release date: November 9, 2023. Little is known about Blade’s return to the MCU. This time it stars Mahershala Ali, but we know that he is half human, half vampire and is fighting against his own kind. And he will do the same here. The wisest have already seen him at Marvel Studios, or rather heard him in the post-credits scene of Eternals, where Kit Harrington gives his character a sword.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos

Release date: Winter 2023. WandaVision’s most unexpected spin-off will come with the character Agatha, who emerges as the series’ big villain. It’s clear that Wanda is coveting her power, and while she hasn’t gotten it yet, she’ll do anything to amass more magic than she has in her own solo adventure. It is known that one of the signatories is Joe Locke, one of the protagonists of Heartstopper; and although his role has yet to be revealed, many believe he may be Wanda Maximoff’s son, Wiccan, with telekinetic powers. Despite promising to close the year in style, we don’t know what they will do.
