Which iPhone will get iOS 16?
Speculation continues about which devices iOS 16, the next version of the Apple iOS operating system, will come to. Known as the most successful phone manufacturer in updating its devices to the latest operating system version, Apple seems intent on continuing this desire with iOS 16. Will your iPhone get iOS 16? Apple has not officially announced which chipsets iOS 16 will come to. This means that there is currently no definitive vision. However, it is still unclear whether iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users who have also received iOS 15 will receive iOS 16. It is unclear whether the iPhone SE (Gen 1), 6S and 6S Plus, which are supported by iOS 15, will also be supported by iOS 16. The full list of iPhone and iPod touch models is here.

It is not yet known whether iOS 16 will arrive for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE (1st generation – 2016) and iPod touch (7th generation).
Apple’s September event will include announcing the release date of iOS 16 amid the launch of a number of new products. Compatible iPhone owners will be able to install the latest operating system, with Apple first announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Apple will announce new features coming to iOS 16 at an earlier conference.
As with any new iOS update, you may be wondering if you can continue to use your old iPhone or if it’s time to upgrade to a newer version. When Apple released iOS 15 last year, it announced that the update would work with the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone SE (1st generation – 2016) and newer models.
